Our first artist collaboration is with Olivia Steele, bringing her Public Display of Awareness campaign to Aspen, CO.
During the Summer of 2023, we were excited to bring Artist Olivia Steele’s messages to the public that spark inspiration, questioning, and awareness. These street signs were dispersed throughout Aspen’s core and surrounding nature. Participants were encouraged to engage in a scavenger hunt to find all ten signs hidden in plain site
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Olivia Steele is a contemporary light artist that has earned an international reputation for her spirited public neon interventions in surreal environments around the world. Formed by hand and filled with gas, Steele harnesses the power of neon light and powerful rhetoric to assert symbolic phrasing that allures and provokes. Her original interventions on street signs have given rise to a new generation of public art and instagramable moments while sparking joy and inspiration for all of those who encounter them.
